The active traveler is always in search of enthusiastic stories, hidden routes and mysterious local traditions, and no place could be more historically interesting and  real than a typical Italian winery, full of incredible treasures, involving art and culture, but as well great respect for the environment.
The province of Treviso has a renown flair for wines, and boasts one of the most ancient and fascinating wine paths in Italy. This path of white wine has been recently renamed ”Strada del Prosecco e Vini dei Colli Conegliano Valdobbiadene” wich means Road of Prosecco and Hills Wine Conegliano Valdobbiadene .
This tour presents an incredible charm and many pleasant surprises that will catch the traveler: historical monuments and traces of a Roman and medieval past, as well as the stately mansions of the Venetian Republic and the ancient churches called Antiche Pievi by the local population. It’s in this enchanting region, just southeast of Treviso, that  this landscape of lush vineyards unfolds in front of the visitor: “La strada dei Vini del Piave” in eglish “The Piave Wine Route”
